South Caucasus Railway CJSC has new general director

Upon the decision of the Board of Directors of South Caucasus Railway CJSC, Alexey Melnikov has been appointed General Director of South Caucasus Railway CJSC. Prior to the appointment, he was First Deputy Head for Economic, Financial and Corporate Coordination of South Caucasus Railway (Russian Railways branch).
Alexey Melnikov has received several specializations at Rostov State University of Railway Transport and Rostov State University of Economics and has been working at North Caucasus Railway since 1999.
As Deputy General Director of Russian Railways Vyacheslav Pavlovksy stated while he was introducing Melnikov, the task of the company and the new director is to make the development of Armenia’s railway ongoing. He also emphasized the fruitful work of the company’s former general director Sergey Valko, who has been appointed to a new post at Russian Railways.
